This is a large apartment with very comfortable beds and room to spread out. Good water pressure in the shower. About a 5 min walk to the yellow metro line, about 7 min walk to Sagrada Familia.
This is a large apartment with very comfortable beds and rooms!
We stayed for 6 nights in November. This was not our reserved apartment, but because there was a heating issue with our reserved apt, we were offered this one instead. That is a good point to consider…with a multi-unit operator, there may be flexibility if something happens to your unit. We are glad we did not have to scramble for a replacement at the last minute.
The unit is one floor above ground level so you don’t need the elevator but there is one if you want it. I’ll describe the floor plan: First of all, the ceilings are really high, maybe 12-13ft, which allows two of the three bedrooms to have a loft. The main entrance door opens into a foyer, and to the left is a hallway with a bedroom with a single bed on ground floor, and a queen bed in the loft.
Continue down that hall to a full bathroom (with single sink and tub), then beyond that is the master bedroom with an en-suite bath (two sinks and a shower). These bedrooms are on the interior walls and are quiet. Off the master bedroom is a little porch of some sort…we did not open that door cause it was chilly.
Returning to the foyer, to the right of the main entrance is the third bedroom, also with a loft. Two twins beds on each level…this loft has the lowest ceiling. This bedroom faces the street. The living room and dining room are next to this bedroom, and also overlook the street.
There is a tiny powder room in the hall, and then the kitchen is at the end of this hall. There is a bump out sitting area off of the living room with three arched windows overlooking the street. This is the most interesting place to sit due to the constant stream of cars, mopeds, scooters, bikers and pedestrians that you can watch from here. There is a small grocery store right near the building entrance, a good Venezuelan bar/restaurant around the corner (El Chamo), and a super cute bakery near the metro that does optional wine pairings! (La Cava Cakery).
The Youstylish team supplied us with a very nice welcome basket (wine, chocolate, milk, OJ, coffee, tea, crackers, condiments) and supplied some laundry soap, dish-washing soap, shampoo/shower gel, toilet paper. Also had 2 hairdryers, an iron and ironing board, washing machine, drying rack.
Our stay was good. The welcome basket was great, the beds were comfortable, the water for the shower was hot, and there was plenty of room for our family of 6. I would rent again from YouStylish Barcelona Apartments, we enjoyed our stay and were happy that there was a place for us when the heat was not working in the original apartment. Thank you.
From the Youstylish team, we are very happy that clients like Minke and his group had a lovely stay in one of our city center apartment in Barcelona.
We hope they come back and visit us soon!
