What does the renewal of the Biosphere certification represent?

The Biosphere certification provides a structured framework that supports ongoing progress in sustainability. It guides our actions in key areas such as the responsible management of natural resources, collaboration with the local economy, and the wellbeing of everyone involved in the tourism value chain, including our team members, suppliers, guests, and the local community.

• Responsible water management. Given the current context in Catalonia, water efficiency is a priority. We actively promote responsible consumption and provide guests with clear guidelines to help reduce water use during their stay.
• Energy efficiency and impact reduction. Continuous improvements are implemented to optimize energy consumption, including efficient lighting systems and responsible use of climate control, contributing to a more sustainable operation.
• Local suppliers and responsible partnerships. We prioritize collaboration with local suppliers that share responsible values, supporting the local economy and fostering long-term, sustainable relationships.
• Social commitment. YouStylish collaborates with social organizations and initiatives through donations and support for projects that generate positive social impact, reinforcing our responsibility beyond accommodation services.

The renewal of this certification takes place within the framework of the Commitment to Tourism Sustainability – Destination Barcelona (CSTDB), promoted in collaboration with institutions such as the Barcelona Provincial Council, Barcelona City Council, Turisme de Barcelona, and the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce.
