A Call to Action
Catalonia's Water Challenge: A Call for Collective Action!
Last year, Catalonia experienced only five days of rainfall, increasing the strain on water reservoirs already struggling with reduced precipitation, soaring temperatures, and erratic weather patterns. This crisis impacts agricultural sectors, natural ecosystems, and urban areas.
At You Stylish, we're committed to sustainability, holding Biosphere certification and striving to empower our guests with the knowledge and tools to address this pressing issue.
To reduce water consumption, we urge our guests to adopt mindful practices in their daily routines. Simple adjustments can help significantly, saving up to 60 liters of water per day:
- Maximize the load in your dishwasher and washing machine before operation (a single laundry cycle can consume approximately 50 liters of water).
- Opt for shorter showers over prolonged ones.
- Turn off the tap while brushing your teeth, soaping or shampooing.
- Carry a reusable water bottle.
- Extend the use of towels and linens through reuse.
By integrating these practices into your travels, you can enjoy your time in Barcelona while actively contributing to the city's water conservation efforts.
Every small action counts, Every drop counts
In summer, Barcelona is best enjoyed without rigid plans, but where you stay makes all the difference: an apartment offers greater freedom, space, and flexibility. Having a well-located place to pause when needed allows the entire experience to flow more naturally.
Barcelona hosts MotoGP and Formula 1 in May and June—two key weekends where the experience goes beyond the circuit: enjoying the city, its atmosphere, and staying in a well-located accommodation to make the most of it all at your own pace.
In Barcelona, You Stylish Apartments will always be waiting for you!
Many people freak out when we tell them that there is a law in Barcelona that obligates all shops to be closed on Sundays and holidays.
